Hi JusticeLA family,

Tomorrow is the final day before WeHo City Council votes to reallocate $3.2 million from the Sheriff’s department to social services! Our campaign has been supported by the ACLU, NAACP, Dignity and Power Now, La Defensa, Re-Imagine LA Coalition, LAYUP, and over 18 local community based organizations that believe that an investment increasing the sheriffs budget to $22.1 million would be a backwards step for progress. 

We need your help in the final push. It’s go time!

By 2:00 pm tomorrow, June 27th  submit written public comment before the city council.

At 6:00 pm tomorrow, June 27th, show up in person or dial in to make live public comments!

• For live comment: Plan to be at WeHo Council Chambers by 5:45 pm to speak. Park at the WeHo Park Parking 625 N San Vicente Blvd (get validation inside Council Chambers)
• To dial in: Email publiccomment@weho.org and mcrowder@weho.org by 2:00 p.m. to be added to the Public Speaker List for the meeting for agenda. Please include your name, the phone number from which you will be calling, and that you want to speak for general public comment
