On Tuesday the 19th of March, I will be presenting the petition to the Chair of East Sussex County Council. 

The Chair will then decide where the matter is assessed, which should be the Lead Member for Transport and Environment.

To date, we have over 500 signatures which shows this is a pressing matter for residents. 

By presenting the petition, ESCC will have officially been made aware that people feel this is an important issue, which helps us put more weight on them to implement the speed reduction.

Although this is a lengthy process, please rest assured that I am continually working on this and we are making good progress.
