The Royal Family in UK receive a sovereign grant which is tax payers money mainly to help of the palace costs.

The UK have been hit with many cuts among various services in public sector and in other business areas. Tax is going up for hardworking people, families and business. Local council are going into financial hardship.

However the Royal Sovereign grant has been increased by up to £45 million for 2025 / 2026. As King Charles asked them to fund a wind farm in his palace. 

I am asking for a review on the sovereign grant, to cut this funding and to put more money back into the UK economy. Stop tax increases and cut the sovereign grant back.

The Royal Family have their own funds they get from any business they own, from tourists visiting their sites, and so on. They should be able to find their own funding for their own projects rather than asking for more tax payers money.  The Royal duty is to serve the people. However increasing their grant is not serving their country or the people.

Asking UK to review and cut the sovereign grant by up to £100 million or £200 million and let the Royal family find their own independent way to fund things like this.  I understand they have history and culture in UK but this increase is not fair on majority of workers, businesses, public services and is not sustainable for our economy. 

There should be a law against them being able to increase their grants like this for own personal projects especially during a time when so many people in the UK are struggling with living costs, with many working people and pensions facing cuts, with struggling business from tax rises and so on. These tax rises would not be so high for UK people without this huge increase of £45 million on the sovereign grant. 

Please review and stop increases on this grant for now and the future. Invest in the UK economy and the UK majority, the working class people.
