I have always appreciated the allure of fast fashion - its affordability, its trendiness, and its accessibility to all. However, as I've grown more aware of the environmental impact this industry has on our planet, I've come to realize that something must be done. The fast fashion industry is one of the top polluters in the world. According to a report by Ellen MacArthur Foundation, it is responsible for 10% of humanity's carbon emissions and is predicted to use up a quarter of the world's carbon budget by 2050 if nothing changes (Ellen MacArthur Foundation). Moreover, it produces 20% of global wastewater (UN Environment). We need to take action now.

We are calling on governments worldwide and major clothing brands to reduce their reliance on fast fashion production methods. We urge them to invest in sustainable practices that will not only help our environment but also create a healthier future for us all.
