Thank you for your continued support

Hello all. I am back on the campaign trail, following a fantastic day at the Royal Garden Party held by Royal society for the prevention of accidents to celebrate their centenary. North Yorkshire Police have launched their summer drink drive campaign which I fully support. I believe most police forces across the country are launching campaigns also. Signatures are slowly creeping up, but feel so many folks are getting bombarded with election stuff at the moment. We are still waiting for the ministry of justice to publish the results of the public consultation held early this year, we were promised it would be published by the end of May but looks like the election has put it to one side. I will of course be on the case as soon as the election is over. All victims of this type of crime need to feel justice is being served at long last. I am angry to hear that the driver who killed my husband has been moved to an open prison and can go home at weekends to be with his family. He can also go to work on a daily basis and had only served 8 months of his sentence. Come September 2018 he will be out of jail and living his life as normal. This is what our country feels is justice. What I felt when told this was someone sticking the knife in and twisting it about. Sorry for the rant just feeling down at the moment, things will get better eventually. Much love to all and thank you for supporting me. Please share and ask friends /family to sign.
