Support continues to grow

Good Morning all. I continue to back road safety issues, to hopefully make our roads a safer place to be. Tomorrow sees the introduction of higher fines for speeding drivers. I personally believe this is a good thing. Fines are divided into three bands – A, B and C – which correspond to how serious the speeding offence is. Drivers caught at speeds up to 10 mph over the limit are classed as band A, with band B fares relating to offences where motorists were clocked at 11-21 mph over the limit. The most serious category of offence is band C, which applies to drivers exceeding the speed limit by more than 21 mph. These band C offenders face fines between 125 and 175 per cent of their weekly wage, which could see the wealthiest motorists slapped with penalties close to the £2,500 limit. I don't know if these fines will make drivers think and slow down, but I do hope it does and in turn turn save someones life. Please do continue to share my petition to reduce drink/drug drive limits. I do have some news to share but I am awaiting confirmation that I am able to attend. I have been invited by RoSPA to attend their Centenary celebrations at a Royal Garden Party being held at Buckingham Palace next month. So excited right now, just waiting for the official invite to land. I am currently enjoying some rest following the surgery to my shoulder hope to be declared fit to drive again in the very near future.
