I want people to understand that I didn’t stand for the change, nor was I against it if it HAD to be done. I only came up with a mascot because it seemed like the only logical way. Obviously change is hard and so many of us don’t understand it because we never intended to offend. I just wanted to say thank you again to all of my supporters. I refuse to look like a whiny adult or act ridiculous over something that is so small compared to other important issues regarding our children. ❤️
At the end of the day it is a name, a LOGO, and WE represented the name, not the other way around. It is not the end of the world, in the eyes of the kids, it’s their new beginning. The youth absolutely do not deserve to see adults, being disgustingly rotten or losing theirs minds over it. No one is taking away that you or I, were proudly a Redskin. I’m disappointed to see how many adults are selfish enough to be okay with negatively affecting their new beginning!
