Catwalk Pets owner Shazia Dar is still breeding dogs despite her apparent contempt for them. Given the past treatment of animals in her care and having links to puppy farmers (Catwalk Pets employed Ronnie Hudgell the puppy farmer exposed by BBC Watchdog in 2018), it's a wonder she still manages to get a 5* license issued by Redbridge Council. She is licensed for 7 breeding dogs at her home property (license number 045685) and is charging £1995 for male pups and £2500 for female pups advertised on Pets4Homes. On previous inspections it was found that Ms Dar keeps puppies and breeding dogs in an outbuilding in her garden. It doesn't take much to get 5*s.
Shazia Dar was also appointed as a director with Azhar Iqbal to a new registered company RS DOGS LTD in June 2020 shortly after the Catwalk Pets investigations with a grand total of £100 filed as their Statement of Capital. Strange.
Catwalk Pets 1* pet shop license is up for renewal next month. We hope Redbridge Council don't think the issues have been forgotten to be swept under the rug again.
