For those who have never been to Catwalk Pets, here is a photo of where some dogs and cats are on display for sale. Have you ever seen a rescue centre advertise their animals in this way? Or selling them for hundreds of pounds in poor health? No, neither have we.  

Other animals are kept in crates at the back of the shop, and more in the garage at a residential premises the owner has a license to breed from. Who knows where the rest are or where they are coming from.

Catwalk Pets is still open, still trading. We’re almost at 5,000 signatures and will be contacting Redbridge Council again for an update.

We won’t let this be brushed under the rug.
