The Issue
SIGN FOR RCMP TO KEEP INVESTIGATING, CHILD ABUSE IS NEVER OKAY
Red Deer Child and Family Services, & Red Deer RCMP has failed my siblings for too many years.
My family is ready to take legal action and speak out against Scott M, for the abuse we have been put through in our childhood and the abuse he put our mother through in their marriage.
But the rcmp has told us they will NOT Be pressing charges.
Scott M (father) & Pamela Shaw (his girlfriend) have both made statements against my sister and denying the obvious assault that took place.
My father Scott, on December 15 2021 assaulted my 14 year old sister, his child, in his home in front of his girlfriend (Pamela Shaw) and young son (9). She has now been removed from home after the altercation, as he left bruises and scratch marks on her neck and arms. Although Child Services called the police, took photos & audio logs & have many years of reports, the RCMP have decided NOT to charge him.
My father has been investigated many times by social services and some how always got away with his actions. This is reoccurring behaviour. Councillors, teachers & family members have called to report my home situation as a child. We hoped this time there would be justice.
He is physically, emotionally, sexually, & financially abusive, and an addict of 23 years. Our family has been broken by his addiction and never once has he went to rehab or therapy for his addiction or aggressive behaviour. He’s lost multiple jobs and homes and can not support my siblings financially or emotionally.
The court system failed us, by putting my siblings back into his care after years of family court, he has never faced consequences for the abuse he has put everyone through.
THE RCMP NEED TO TAKE ACTION.
THE CASE CANNOT BE CLOSED.
THE CHILDREN NEED TO BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM HIS CARE.
