Gavin Newsom is trying to raise the boaters registration to 250% more what the biannual cost was. They have no transparency on what the money previously was spent on and the boaters tax before was never used properly. The money received was diverted to other issues within the state like building the high speed railway to nowhere. We have to take a stand and tell them we can’t afford to make up for your mistakes on spending the budget improperly. We need to have transparency on where the money has been spent. We have no access in parks all along California for water access to fish because of homeless encampments.  CaDFW and the California government needs to fix these issues because we spend way to much money yearly for water access that we have no access to. There is many safety issues due to these problems and they keep increasing the prices for access.
