My Instagram account @joshtrade_ was disabled without a valid reason. I submitted appeals and even opened multiple support tickets with Meta, but my account has now been under review for more than 4 months with no proper response.

Instagram’s appeal process should be fair, transparent, and timely. Unfortunately, in my case — and for many other users — the system is extremely slow and unresponsive, leaving people without access to their own accounts for months.

It's incredibly frustrating to feel locked out of a community and a platform that plays an integral role in both personal and business aspects of life. Many users rely on Instagram for outreach, social interaction, and expanding their business network. When an account is wrongfully disabled, and the appeal process is repeatedly delayed without updates or resolution, it can disrupt both personal goals and professional ambitions.

Many others like me have faced this unfortunate experience, echoing the need for Instagram to enhance its user support system. There's evidence from forums and online communities where thousands of similar cases are reported, revealing significant drawbacks in the current system.

We urge Meta to revamp their account recovery process to make it more efficient and responsive. Users deserve prompt feedback on their appeals and an understanding of what might have gone wrong. We need a system that ensures accountability and transparency, with realistic timelines and results-oriented solutions.
