Recognize the Iranian People’s Freedom Movement and Their Right to Self-Determination
For years, the people of Iran have participated in widespread and peaceful protests in response to systematic repression, human rights violations, and the deprivation of fundamental freedoms. These protests represent a legitimate struggle for freedom, human dignity, and full citizenship rights, and they must be recognized by the international community.
Today, a large portion of Iranians, both inside and outside the country, have voluntarily and democratically entrusted the political leadership of this freedom-seeking movement to Prince Reza Pahlavi, who has repeatedly affirmed his commitment to democracy, human rights, secular governance, and free elections.
This petition calls on governments, international organizations, and the global public to recognize the Iranian people's protests as a legitimate freedom movement, to support the right of the Iranian nation to self-determination, and to stand alongside them in their transition toward a democratic system based on citizenship rights and human rights.
The people of Iran, guided by their national leadership, are standing for freedom and liberation from the grasp of the criminal Islamic regime. The Islamic government, through news suppression, censorship, and brutal repression, is massacring protesting citizens and attempting to silence their voices—but this resistance cannot be contained, and the world must hear their call for freedom.
