Recognize the Contributions of Unsung Revolutionary Heroes in Indian Education Policies

Recognize the Contributions of Unsung Revolutionary Heroes in Indian Education Policies
The Issue

As a direct descendent of Ullaskar Dutta, a forgotten hero of India's fight for freedom, I emphatically believe in the crucial need for his recognition - and that of his fellow unsung heroes - in our education system.
The contributions of valiant freedom fighters like Ullaskar Dutta, Prafulla Chaki, Rash Behari Bose, and numerous others were pivotal to India's path towards independence. Their roles, however, have been largely overlooked in comparison to the Gandhian Movement led by the Indian National Congress.Historically, Ullaskar Dutta's contribution, particularly his involvement in the infamous Alipore Bomb Case in 1908, has been substantially sabotaged. A vast majority of Indians remain unaware of such sacrifices. Their instrumental participation, such as the Alipore Bomb Case in 1908, remains sidelined in our educational policies, both at center and state levels.
It's important to have comprehensive, incisive education that promotes historical Accuracy, inclusivity, and respect for all contributors to India's freedom. Reception of such factual knowledge would surely instill a stronger sense of national pride, balanced perspective, and appreciation for the sacrifices of costly independence in our students.
Please sign this petition to recognize the efforts of unsung heroes so our future generations can learn from a complete, unbiased, and nuanced understanding of our history.
