I wanted to share an update and be transparent with you all.

After submitting this petition and formally raising concerns with SD61, I received a response on October 30. Unfortunately, it was a general cookie-cutter statement with no follow-up, no timeline, and no concrete action. Since then, there has been no further communication from the district.

I am changing schools, but I will still remain within the SD61 system, and I want to be very clear: this does not mean I am giving up. I’ve been balancing work and school commitments, which slowed things down temporarily, but the issue of anti-Palestinian racism in our schools has not gone away, and neither has my commitment to addressing it.

Real change does not happen quietly or conveniently. It happens when enough people refuse to be ignored.

This is where I need your help.
Please share this petition with everyone you know:

- Send it to classmates, coworkers, friends, and family
- Ask others to repost and reshare

Our next goal is 500 signatures, and every single share matters. The district needs to see that this is not one person’s concern; it is a community demand for accountability, safety, and dignity.
