On April 1, 2022, Amazon workers at the JFK8 Fulfillment Center in Staten Island made history by voting YES for the Amazon Labor Union, the first and only labor union representing workers at Amazon in the United States.

Amazon management is refusing to acknowledge the results of the election because the workers of JFK8 defeated them badly. Over 2,600 workers made history by voting YES. Our union won the election. It’s been over a month and Amazon refuses to accept that fact.

Union Busting is Disgusting.

After wasting tens of millions of dollars of our hard-earned money to try to defeat the workers who want a union, Amazon is now pulling out every dirty trick in the book to try to stop our union certification. Amazon’s lawyers are pulling workers off of the floor to intimidate them into signing statements of “evidence” in order to try to overturn the election. The workers won our election fair and square and it is time for Amazon to accept that fact.

Amazon management must immediately recognize the Amazon Labor Union as the legal collective bargaining representative for the workers of JFK8, and must begin negotiating a new contract with the ALU in good faith.
