We are pleased that Patti Clark has stepped  down from the Board of Directors, however, a Board stacked with friends and vendors does NOT remove the conflicts of interest. 

Our story has now been picked up by the New York Times and FOX News, and Nonprofit Quarterly has again used Austin Zoo as a 'what not to do' when managing a non profit cautionary tale. Keep up the pressure for change. The animals at Austin Zoo deserve a qualified Director and an independent Board!
