Management and lawyers of Austin Zoo have been speaking to zoo employees, including the three zoo keepers who were terminated this past week. Due to recent events, we will not be surprised to see prior statements and opinions flipped in the near future.

         The time for action is now! We invite all of you to stand and join us in protest to show the Board and Zoo Director that we demand transparency and legitimate checks and balances. Community members will gather to tell the Austin Zoo that they are not living up to Austin, TX’s values of compassionate animal care and properly run nonprofits. Specific dates and times will be announced as soon as permits are received. We hope you will join us in the cause to #RebuildAustinZoo �
