Hello everyone I know all the locals here have at least been to under the oaks park or have heard about it . I’ve grown up on this park and for almost 23 years now and from since I can remember the park really hasn’t changed much or gotten any updates to it. Recently theirs been numerous reports of fire ants, rats and termites taking over the equipment. The wood is deteriorating in many places because of how old it is and it’s like the city just doesn’t see it instead let’s make new bathrooms . I don’t know about any other locals but I know I’d love to see them update the equipment at the park or even update all the wood in the park to make it safer for the kids I loved what the did to Oakland terrace now I feel like it’s under the oaks parks turn to get an update
