Rebuild the 45 foot Maleficent dragon at Disneyland for Fantasmic!!!
Rebuild the 45 foot Maleficent dragon at Disneyland for Fantasmic!!!
The Issue
We witnessed an unfortunate event on April 22nd, 2023, at Disneyland Park, when the magnificent Maleficent 45-foot Dragon Animatronic caught fire, leaving fans and visitors heartbroken. This breathtaking piece of art and engineering has been a beloved feature at Disneyland, enchanting countless visitors with its awe-inspiring presence. However, despite the deep attachment and admiration from the public, Disneyland Park management and the Walt Disney Imagineering department have decided to permanently retire this iconic animatronic.
This decision is a huge disappointment and very sickening to many of us who cherish the memories and magic that the Maleficent Dragon brought to Disneyland's Fantasmic show. Disney has always been synonymous with magic, imagination, and bringing dreams to life. We believe that retiring such a beloved Animatronic contradicts the spirit of innovation and wonder that Disney stands for.
We, the undersigned, implore Josh D'Amaro, the current CEO of Disney, to announce plans to rebuild the Maleficent Dragon Animatronic. We propose that the new dragon be constructed with advanced technology, including electric motors and actuators, and have it blow LED flames through it's mouth ensuring not only its safety for the Animatronic dragon, but also enhancing its performance and to make sure the 45 foot animatronic dragon never catches fire again. We suggest setting a realistic timeframe of 13 months to complete this project, making it possible for Disney fans to enjoy this spectacular attraction the original way but with brand new ways to make all the Disney Fans forever happy for all those that love Murphy once again by July 2027.
Bringing back the Maleficent Dragon will not only revive an iconic feature of Disneyland in Anaheim, but also showcase Disney's commitment to preserving the magic and excitement that generations of park-goers cherish. Moreover, rebuilding this animatronic from Scratch will be an excellent opportunity for Disney to demonstrate its leadership in theme park innovation and its dedication to enhancing visitor experiences.
Please join us in urging Disneyland park officials and Walt Disney Imagineering Management to Really re-consider their decision and bring this much-loved dragon back to life. Your support can make a difference and help preserve this enchanting piece of Disney Parks history. Sign this petition and share it with fellow Disneyland Park enthusiasts to ensure our voices are firmly heard across the Nation!!
Please & Thank You folks!
We Would Love all the help we can get folks on this subject, everyone!!
Best Regards, The Zizza Family.
