The Vondelkerk, an architectural gem of the 19th century, designed by the renowned architect P.J.H. Cuypers, stands as a testament to our rich cultural heritage in Amsterdam.

Parts of the church, including the tower, were destroyed by fire on the 31st of December 2025.

We urge any relevant actors to rebuild the Vondelkerk and to stay true to its 19th-century design by P.J.H. Cuypers and the restoration by his son, so that we can pass on our cultural heritage to generations to come.
