If you attend Balfour or know someone who does, you've most likely heard the horror stories of this building. Between the breathlessness travelling between classes, the confusion of the schools lay out, and the unbearable temperatures, smells and noises. It's almost a century old and the Ministry of Education are not funding it's rebuild. They're sprinkling a few thousand dollars for minor repairs, when in the grand scheme of things, this whole building is beyond repair. To have Balfour rebuilt, it needs to be started before 2029, as that's the year that Balfour will become a Historical building and then can no longer be rebuilt, let alone repaired. We need to show the Ministry of Education that this is a real problem that needs to be addressed immediately !
