Reboot Tugs

Reboot Tugs
The Issue
This idea has been on my mind for a while, after watching the entire series of Thomas the tank engine From seasons 1 to 7 in the UK, along with Tugs and Theodore Tugboat, i have come to a decision, that i want Tugs to be rebooted, and if no one else is making a petition on this, then i guess it will have to be me. For those who don't know this show, it was also produced by David Mitton, and Robert Cardona, however Britt Alcroft was the only one who wasn't involved with it. The show was released between the second and third seasons of Thomas the tank engine, ironically the episodes only ever aired once on tv, much to David Mitton's surprise, along with 4 episodes being released early on Australian VHS. Despite the show receiving positive reviews, it only ended up getting 13 episodes, with an already planned second season and many other episodes being cancelled, this was due to Thomas having more popularity and clearwater studios going Bankrupt. the show did get a sort of spin off series released in the United States titled (Salty's Lighthouse) which was aimed more towards children, it was sorta similar to shining time station, which was used to help promote Thomas and get it to the US, as well as greenlighting its third season, but many would arguably agree that Salty's Lighthouse was an absolute rip-off. David Mitton had written around 96 scripts while the show was in development, expecting it to run much longer than it did, but obviously with that explained, that was only wishful thinking, the show did get a few books, and there were other scrapped episodes too, 1) was another episode titled (harbor life) where ten cents goes to work at a sugar factory, the episode was cancelled for unknown reasons, 2) (Night story) where ten cents was to help sally the seaplane land safely at night by towing a bunch of small shrimp boats in a line to make a landing platform, as well as cover it with lights, 3) (Railhead) where Ten-cents has to stop a train from falling in a river from a broken bridge, where another tug is also trapped by getting stuck on high rocks, 4) (Strike) where a group of harbor men go on strike and the tugs have to find a way to beat the strike, and 5) another episode that was titled with the same name as another (Hercules) where one of the tugs in charge Hercules, has to tow 2 to 3 ships in the harbor, this episode was cancelled cause it proved too hard to film, had this episode been made, it would've been the only episode to focus mainly on Hercules. there were many other planned episodes too, like i said that David Mitton had written 96 scripts, but those i listed above were the most noted that i found, with all that said, I'm hoping that if this petition does succeed and they do make a reboot, they will use the original planned episode scripts, and perhaps in the modern day they'll make it CGI styled, like they did with Thomas. it would be very nice to see Ten-cents and his friends on more daring adventures.
