In March of 2021, the Looney Tunes character of Pepé Le Pew fell under controversy, where people accused him of sexually assaulting women against their will without consent, leading to him being sidelined, although his co-star Penelope Pussycat (Who has been his love-interest ever since her debut back in For Scent-imental Reasons(1949)) continues to appear without him (Notably in Bugs Bunny Builders (2022-Present) where she is an independent Fashionista).

But still, even to this day people and even writers continue to talk negatively about Pepé, such as how there was supposed to be a scene criticizing him in Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021) (To add insult, said deleted scene also included Penelope filing a restraining order against him), he and Penelope were used to represent a toxic relationship in Joker: Folie à Deux (2024), and some of these people even go as far as to compare Pepé to characters like the Droogs from A Clockwork Orange (1971), the Titular Character from Johnny Bravo (1997-2004), as well as compare Pepé and Penelope’s relationship to negative ones like Joker and Harley Quinn’s Relationship from DC or even Valentino and Angel Dust’s Relationship from Hazbin Hotel (2024-Present), but these types of people should be ignored I’ll add. Not to mention that going off what I say about Penelope in Bugs Bunny Builders, some people want to see more Penelope but some also see her appearance in this show as a better direction for her to be independent of the skunk.

However, if anyone reading this petition actually watched any of the shorts (Mainly the classic ones) staring Pepé Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat, they should know that the reason why Pepé falls in love with Penelope because he thinks she is a female skunk (Mainly due to seeing her with a white stripe painted down her backside), Pepé is shown to actually care for Penelope (Such as how he sometimes sets up dates for her, saves her life, shown to still love her even if he finds out she’s actually a cat not a skunk, how he has absolutely no intention to actually hurt or abuse Penelope or anyone in general physically), the only reason Penelope runs from Pepé is due to how bad he smells and he is unaware of said smell, and that Penelope has romantic feelings right back for Pepé and she even falls in love and chases after Pepé when he doesn’t smell bad or she can’t smell.

Not only that, but between the 1990s-2010s Pepé Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat were actually going through a positive direction where they were depicted as an official romantic couple such as in official Merchandise, Artwork, Advertisements, Amusement Park Attractions, and even some Animated Media, all of which allowed for the two to be progressed into an official couple while Pepé himself also had some character development of his own such as being a Wedding Planner in The Looney Tunes Show (2011-2013), a Secret Agent Spy in Wabbit/New Looney Tunes (2015-2020), a Perfume Salesman in Looney Tunes: Rabbit Run (2015), and how his and Penelope’s relationship was made to be that of an official romantic couple as I stated. Plus, there are still fans out there who want to see more of Pepé Le Pew and for him and Penelope Pussycat to be a romantic couple, even though Warner Bros. has the final say.

To put it simply, we would like to convince Warner Bros. and the people working there (Including those who are applying to work for WB) to bring back Pepé Le Pew for modern projects and for him and Penelope Pussycat to become an official romantic couple (Weather as BF & GF or a Married Couple), if their old dynamic could be brought back but with a better understanding that Penelope is only bothered by Pepé’s bad smell and how she loves him back especially when he doesn’t smell or have to have a new dynamic that is fine, some ideas for new dynamics could be Pepé and Penelope trying to get rid of the former’s bad smell, going on dates, being a comedy duo, or even going off the idea where he and Penelope could be job-seekers where Pepé could be a Perfume Salesman (Based on his role in Rabbit Run (2015)) and Penelope could be a Fashionista (Based on her role in Bugs Bunny Builders (2022-Present) in love with each other (Special thanks to Termite Terrace Club and Rwinger24 on Instagram) and Penelope could still be independent and appear without Pepé sometimes even if he is brought back and especially if the two are in a romantic relationship.

Regardless, whichever way the two are brought back, what we would like to see them the most as is an official couple, there are still fans, new people, and even children out there who really want more, and to see them as a couple.
