Iowans are coming together to demand action on the Violence Against Women Act. Under the hashtag #WhyJoni, women are sharing their stories of sexual assault and domestic violence, asking Senator Ernst (the Senate leader delaying a vote on the VAWA) why she is prioritizing the NRA over victims -- especially as a victim, herself. 

Will you join fellow Iowans in their call to action? Sign their open letter demanding that Joni Ernst side with survivors instead of the NRA here. 

And we can go even further. All of our Senators must pledge to prioritize the NRA over victims and vote promptly to bring the VAWA to a vote.
