As an individual who deeply admires the artistry and love that went into the creation of every Sonic the Hedgehog figure, I have witnessed with shock the sky-high costs of these beloved items. In my own experience and surely for many others, these prices are utterly off-putting. Years ago, these wonderful figures were reasonably priced and thus, accessible to fans of all ages. Unfortunately, after the production was halted, the availability diminished and the pricing soared, pushing fans like us out of reach. The figures that brought so much joy, and remain an enduring symbol of our childhood, have become a luxury many of us can no longer afford. Our beloved characters like Sonic from Jazwares, a company renowned for its quality products, had their figures lovingly crafted around 2008 and various other years. It's heartbreaking to see such iconic figures becoming a treasure only a privileged few can afford.

We all understand and appreciate the value of vintage and hard-to-find items. But in this particular context, we believe it's time these figures returned to reasonable pricing. Figures dating back to 2008 and various other subsequent years should be available to all Sonic lovers at prices that reflect a fair market, not a collector's auction. 

Therefore we urge Jazwares, and all relevant stakeholders, to take action. We ask that you consider reanimating and remaking these iconic Sonic the Hedgehog and other figures, and make them available to all fans at reasonable prices. This is not only about the figures; it is about preserving and cherishing an essential part of our pop culture heritage. Sign this petition to help us bring Sonic figures back to affordability.
