I—like so many others—have been deeply touched by the heartfelt performances and inspiring music of "Crazy For You" musical. This show holds a special place in mine as well as I’m sure all your hearts reading this too! Its absence from London's West End has left a discernible void. The last time "Crazy For You" graced the West End stage was in 2023 at the Gillian Lynne Theatre—it may have only been 7 months but that’s 7 months without undoubtedly one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life.

"Crazy For You" is a potent embodiment of George Gershwin's musical genius, and it merits a revival. Although we’ve just experienced a revival it should have stayed longer or even permanently. The cultural and personal significance of "Crazy For You" is immense. Not only would it contribute to the thriving theatre scene, but it would also hold significant sentimental value for many people like myself. And I have spoken to and heard lots of people from June last year until now, and even when the show was in Chichester, heard how dazzling this show is, plus need I say more: Charlie Stemp!

Yet, if a stage re-revival is not possible at this moment, we – the fans – would be profoundly grateful for a professional recording or 'proshot'. This would provide countless supporters worldwide access to the musical that has moved us so deeply. Considering the success of Anything Goes at the Barbican and 42nd Street at Drury Lane in recent years that did very well and hence both have Proshot available on digital and physical media. Plus the extra money for the theatre shops, producers and cast and team in regards to royalties etc would be an extra boost!
