Deck The Halls is one of my all time favorite Christmas hymns. I have heard many renditions of it over the years, but none of them are as good as James Taylor's version. When I first heard James Taylor's rendition of Deck The Halls many years ago as a child, I thought it was the most beautiful rendition of the carol that I had ever heard. I heard it on the radio and I had almost forgotten about it until I heard it on YouTube again a few years back. After I did some research, I found out that it was additionally released on CD in 2004 on A Christmas Album, but was removed when the album was re-released in 2006. Why?! Why did this happen?! Way to ruin a perfectly good album/CD! Now the only way to hear it is by listening to it on YouTube or waiting to hear it on the radio during the holiday season in November/December. This makes no sense whatsoever. For this reason, it should be re-released on CD and on iTunes as well as all music streaming services. I was lucky enough to find the CD on eBay with the Deck The Halls track on it, and I think it should be available on CD again and on iTunes.
