Re-Opening the School Patio for Lunch.

Re-Opening the School Patio for Lunch.
The Issue
I am writing to ask that the patio be reopened for lunch. The cafeteria is often WAY too crowded, and there is not enough seating for everyone. Letting students eat outside would reduce the size of the cafeteria and make lunch a more manageable "period".
Opening the patio would also help school's climate and uplift spirits. The environment during the day can seem rather dulled and tiresome, and small changes like access to outdoor seating would make a noticeable difference for students, especially during some holidays like Christmas or Halloween. Maybe even the week before thanksgiving could have a nice tone.
There are also practical ways to manage the space responsibly. Incentives could be given for keeping the area clean, such as limiting access to those who consistently throw away their trash. This would allow for accountability and help maintain the space without adding to staff responsibilities.
The patio also does not need to be open to everyone at once. It could be a reward for students who meet expectations, which would both limit numbers and motivate students to follow school rules.
I believe reopening the patio would benefit the school by lessening cafeteria crowding and encouraging responsibility amongst students.
