John is in the middle of appealing his conviction on the federal level, one that has already taken over 10 years of his life as an innocent man in prison. Knowing that only 3-4% of appeals ever make it past the procedural barriers for a retrial, we are hiring experts to discover new evidence in his case to present back at the State level.  Legal action takes money—lots of it— and our funds are becoming exhausted, but we are not giving up!  John's life is worth it!  We are trying to raise $25,000 to continue fighting this incredibly unjust conviction.
