LET’S GET BEHIND SALISBURY CITY HALL!
After Covid-19 Wiltshire Council's ruling group voted to close down Salisbury City Hall. They sacked all the staff and lied that the roof was too dangerous to allow it to be used for public entertainment.
Local residents and music fans (me included) were outraged. We started the campaign to Re-Open Salisbury City Hall NOW!
We thought it would be an uphill battle. It was, but we had a huge team and right on our side.
Towards the end of the struggle I was contacted by Justin Britchford, from Swindon, who was interested in taking on the City Hall. He had already transformed MECA Swindon.
I put Justin in touch with a number of ex staff, customers and musicians to help him re-open the City Hall.
Thanks to Justin Britchford's leadership and commitment, Salisbury City Hall is back on its feet as a major regional music and entertainment venue.
Now we have to keep it there! Please help in one of three ways:
