City Council will debate opening negotiations with Wiltshire Council to take over City Hall

Salisbury City Council will debate whether to open negotiations with Wiltshire Council to take over Salisbury City Hall at Full Council on Monday 4th September. The meeting will start at 1830 in Salisbury Guildhall.

The meeting will discuss a Notice of Motion from Cllr Paul Sample JP, as follows: “The Council requests that the Officers now open negotiations with Wiltshire Council to ascertain the proposed terms and conditions upon which a transfer of Salisbury City Hall from Wiltshire Council to Salisbury City Council could be achieved and to report back to members.”

Residents are welcome to attend. If you would like to lobby City Councillors to support the motion as they go into the meeting, then you should arrive outside Salisbury Guildhall from 1800 onwards.
