Throughout the past year, current Mayor Pat Haley has been telling Greg Pitzer, the father of Casey Pitzer, that the key is to get an outside agency to investigate the 2013 suspicious death of Casey Pitzer (which appears to be an obvious murder-cover-up). Mayor Haley said he would have a large strong department come investigate Casey's death. He said it never hurts to take a second look. Mayor Haley has been in office for nearly 6 months, and he as former County Sheriff has not yet found an investigative agency to investigate Casey's death as he gave his word that he would do. Mayor Haley is a former County Sheriff and has plenty of law enforcement experience and the ties to get BCI, the FBI, OSP, or other investigative agencies involved to come investigate. Instead, Mayor Haley has excluded Greg from the communications regarding the investigation requests that are said to have been made. Mayor Haley claims that no agencies will come investigate Casey Pitzer's death and has recanted on his promises, his word, and statements that he has made.
The fact is Former Wilmington City Mayor John Stanforth was a building contractor, not a former county sheriff and law enforcement officer like current Mayor Pat Haley. Former Mayor Stanforth was able to get both the FBI and BCI to assist Wilmington and investigate much less serious allegations, crimes, and misconduct. Now at the 5/16/2024 council meeting, Mayor Pat Haley claims he cannot perform miracles by locating an investigative agency. Mayor Pat Haley believes that former Mayor John Stanforth actually performed miracles when he simply emailed and requested investigative agencies like BCI and the FBI to investigate misconduct. We call them simple email requests; Mayor Pat Haley calls them miracles. Please help the Pitzer family by emailing current Mayor Pat Haley and ask him to perform what he considers a miracle by simply emailing and requesting BCI, the FBI, and the Ohio State Patrol to come investigate what appears to be the murder of Casey Pitzer. Ask Mayor Haley to be a man and honor his word by getting a large and strong department, one that handles homicides every day to come investigate the death of Casey Pitzer. "One we can trust", said Haley. Mayor Haley wrote a book on solving a murder. Anyone that knows him, knows with his law enforcement contacts, that he would have no problem finding an outside agency to investigate a murder cover-up. Please help remind him that real men and women with integrity keep their word when it is given.

Law Director Justin Dickman's office, the Wilmington City Prosecutor's office has made some huge commitments to Greg Pitzer and his family. Under the supervision of Justin Dickman, Greg Pitzer was told that he would have an advocate assist him. That has not happened. Greg was told that Justin would advocate to find an outside agency to investigate the death of Casey Pitzer. That has not happened. Justin sent one generic and pathetic letter that did not include any of the family's allegations. Nor did it include any of the information explaining that a slew of key records and evidence are feloniously missing. Law Director Dickman and his Prosecutor Sarah McMahon refused to accept a large amount of evidence from Greg Pitzer that he and his family has collected, even though they said it would be collected and sent to the agencies being requested to investigate. That did not happen. Law Director Dickman never mentioned that over 3,800 people have signed this very petition. He intentionally watered down the letter he wrote and never even ran the words by Greg Pitzer before he sent the poor written letter. Greg Pitzer has been told he would be involved and that things would be transparent, that has not happened. Mr. Dickman sandbagged and sent the request to BCI on behalf of Greg Pitzer instead of the City's behalf, knowing that the request would get rejected. Citizens cannot request investigative agencies like BCI to investigate, those requests must come from Law Enforcment and Justice Officials ONLY, like Mr. Dickman, not on behalf of citizens and he knows that. Mr. Dickman also promised that he would assist Greg Pitzer in collecting the many missing records from the involved agencies, evidence that would prove murder. Mr. Dickman did help collect two new documents and then he quit helping Greg all together. Now, he refuses to respond to very simple questions. Greg Pitzer is seeking an agreement with the city, that they simply keep their word on what was said and now Mr. Dickman has silenced the city's administration. He advised the administration in a council meeting on 5/16/24 not to speak with Greg Pitzer because of litigation. But the fact is, Mr. Dickman and the Mayor have been communicating the entire time, for nearly six months while Greg has been going through the exact same litigation that Mr. Dickman speaks of. He silenced everyone during a time where Greg is requesting a mediation agreement in court. Deals are done when people speak and communicate, and everyone knows that. Mr. Dickman has failed to keep his word to a family that has been grieving and looking for closure for over 11 years now. If you could please help Greg Pitzer and his family by emailing Mr. Justin Dickman and reminding him that he works for and serves the citizens of Wilmington, people like Greg Pitzer, not a corrupt government. Please ask Mr. Dickman to act like a man with integrity and uphold his word that he and his office gave to Greg Pitzer.
