For those of you have signed the petition and live in Aberdeen, please do take time to complete the closed libraries consultation survey. This is available online here:
https://consultation.aberdeencity.gov.uk/library-and-information-services/acl-consultation/
For people who do not have access to the internet, paper copies are available in all the remaining libraries across the city, and we believe there are paper copies in the following locations:
-Cairncry Community Centre
-Cults Kirk Centre
-Ferryhill Community Centre
-Hilton Community Centre
-Inchgarth Community Centre
-Kaimhill Community Centre
-Northfield Community Centre
If you have not been able to access library services in the same way as you did before, please share that difficulty and the impact it has had on your wellbeing.
We know many people have lost trust in the council feeling that there is no point in taking part in these consultations - but it's important that people speak up.
The deadline for taking part is Monday 6 November.
Thank you to those who have already done so either by completing a paper survey at one of the community centres, doing it on the council website or going along to give your answers in person at one of the focus groups.
