Have you, or someone who you know, been personally impacted by recent public library closures in Cults, Cornhill, Ferryhill, Kaimhill, Northfield, and Woodside, or the swimming pool closure in Bucksburn? The team working to Save Aberdeen Facilities would like to hear from you as soon as possible. 

The campaign team is keen to hear from people from each of the affected communities who have been personally impacted by the closures, and whose personal circumstances mean they are likely to qualify for legal aid.

The team is currently working with solicitors from Govan Law Centre and Grampian Community Law Centre. Identifying individuals affected in each community who are eligible for legal aid will be the most effective means to mount a legal challenge against the closures at the Court of Session.

If you're able to help, your only obligation will be to speak with the campaign’s solicitors, who are also able to advise on legal aid eligibility. There is no requirement to attend court proceedings or to speak publicly. All communications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
