Well folks, looks like the same policy that got benched over the summer might be getting called back up for a vote — and I say it’s about time! This is our chance to make sure it’s not just a comeback, but a full-time starter.
So here’s the game plan: take a minute to email the Leon County School Board members and Superintendent Rocky Hanna. Tell ‘em to reopen those school tracks and fields to the public. After all, these are community-funded facilities — built by us, for us and our current athletes. No reason not to share.
And hey, if you can, show up. Let’s be the kind of crowd that reminds ‘em who they’re playing for.
Let’s keep the pressure on and get this policy back where it belongs — on the field, not on the sidelines.
Believe. 🏅
