The intermediary of La Jolla Scenic Drive North road up to Pottery Canyon is currently overgrown with Eucalyptus and Jade bushes. I urge the local authorities and community members to consider re-landscaping this vital space with native plants. This action will  foster wildlife habitat and elevate the charm of our neighborhood.

Native plants are not only naturally adapted to our local environment, they also provide critical habitats for California's native pollinators, which are essential for the health of the ecosystem. Studies by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service show that planting native flora supports a greater diversity and abundance of pollinators, such as bees and butterflies
