Dear Supporters,
Firstly I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of the 12,088 individuals who have signed our petition so far!
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to provide an important update regarding the scheduled drop-in meeting for tonight, November 27th . Unfortunately, the city has canceled the meeting due to "unforeseen circumstances".
While this cancellation is disappointing, it also underscores the impact we are making by showing up and voicing our concerns. Your commitment and involvement are making a difference, and we will continue to navigate these challenges together.
In the spirit of keeping you informed and engaged, I am excited to share that we have launched a new website:
balanceonbloor.ca
This platform will serve as a central hub for updates, information, and opportunities to get involved in our community advocacy efforts.
Here's what you can do:
1.Visit the Website: balanceonbloor.ca
Explore the website for the latest updates, resources, and information related to our cause. You can also find details about upcoming events, news articles, and ways to connect with fellow supporters.
2.Sign Up for Updates
On the website, there is an option to subscribe for updates. By signing up, you will receive newsletters, event notifications, and important announcements directly to your inbox. This ensures you stay well-informed and engaged in our collective efforts.
3.Spread the Word
Encourage friends, family, and fellow community members to join our cause. Share the website link (Balance on Bloor) on social media and in your networks to help us grow our community of advocates.
Important Note: The city has been providing vague answers to our questions, and this cancellation raises further concerns about transparency. Our collective voice is crucial in holding decision-makers accountable. Let's continue to seek clear, detailed responses to our inquiries.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our cause. While tonight's meeting may be canceled, our commitment remains unwavering, and we will continue to pursue a balanced and inclusive approach to urban planning in our community.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out via the website or email me at cody@rinomato.com
Together, we can make a positive impact on the future of Bloor Street and our community.
****There will be more events happening in the near future, that we are currently planning, so please sign up on our website****
Warm regards,
Cody MacRae
