Significant increase of residential construction in South Naperville has resulted in unsustainable growth of South Naperville. 

Property taxes in District 204 continue to rise, and South Naperville remains underrepresented in many segments such as office spaces, hotels, commercial establishments, and warehouses.

This imbalance has led to higher property taxes for residents on the south side. Over the years, city council representation from South Naperville has been minimal compared to North Naperville.

To address this issue, we propose redistricting the council into two zones: North and South Naperville. Council members will get equal representation between DuPage County (North Naperville), and Will County (South Naperville). The mayor would be elected at large.

This division will ensure fair representation for both regions of our city and help balance development efforts. By doing so, we can work towards a more equitable distribution of resources and opportunities across all of Naperville.
