Please join us Monday at 5:00 PM to help URGE the Wake County Commissioners to issue a statement similar to what the City of Raleigh passed recently. Specifically that the Wake County Commissioners issue a statement that they are "not in favor of the use of the Odd Fellows Tract as a quarry and believe that the RDU Airport Authority should have obtained the County's permission before entering into the quarry lease."

The meeting starts at 5:00 PM, and citizens can speak at 5:30 (3 minute speaking slots). If you'd like to speak you'll need to sign up prior to the meeting start, so be there by 4:45pm if you want to speak.

Don't want to speak?  No problem, you can still help the cause by attending the meeting, and wearing a Stop RDU Quarry sticker or holding a sign. We'll be handing them out just prior to the meeting.  The more we have in the audience, the stronger the message!
