Rhondda cynon taff have now imposed to change the miles radius for Free school transport for secondary school from 2 miles to 3 miles and also college students from 2 miles to 3 miles. 

This indicates that children will now have to walk atleast 3 miles for some to get to school. These changes will affect families who struggle with transport, health issues, cost of living etc. 

It is unfair to our children to walk this far and get to school on time and more importantly safely! And families that have to either work or suffer paying a high fee for just a seat especially if they cannot afford it.

I am a single mother with two children who live in the area that will be affected by this change. But I am also speaking on behalf of others too.

We need to be the voice for our children! And we need to stand up to this! This is why I am doing this petition to help out children get to school safely.

It is unfair for Rct to rip this service from our children when council tax is rising!
