On Holocaust Memorial Day, Kingston Council has overshadowed a serious message from the Borough's Mayor about the horrors of genocide with a message that dominates its newsletter thanking "everyone who has shaped Kingston's vision for a new leisure centre"

We must not allow our Borough and our lives to be dominated by spin

I ask everyone who has signed this petition to focus today on the values in life that matter and how we must act to preserve those values and demand equality of treatment for everyone, and on how a real democracy must act transparently and with integrity at all times

And tomorrow I ask you to share the petition and to ask everyone you know to sign it on order to help save, repair and reopen The Kingfisher Leisure Centre
