You will be pleased to hear that, following consultation with Jenny Wigley QC on Kingston Council’s decision to approve the planning application for the demolition of The Kingfisher Leisure Centre, I instructed Leigh Day solicitors to send a letter to the council on my behalf which they have duly done.

The letter identifies no fewer than seven grounds for challenging Kingston Council’s decision to demolish The Kingfisher.

This letter has been sent before the Decision Notice for the demolition of The Kingfisher Leisure Centre has been published and therefore before a formal decision to demolish has been made by Kingston Council.

Leigh Day has requested a response before 9 November 2021.
