Save the Yellowstone Grizzly

Jun 4, 2021
After more than six months, there are still no leads on the poacher or poachers of the Yaak adult female grizzly killed last November--a devastating loss to one of the most, if not the most, endangered grizzly population in North America. And the state of Montana continues to kill grizzlies seeking to travel from the Northern Continental Ecosystem down toward Yellowstone, with recolonizing bears killed, within the last month, in the Big Snowies, Avon, and Dupuyer, MT. We are sending your signatures to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland asking them to protect the Yaak grizzlies.
The state of Montana has declared "War on WIldlife." The U.S. Forest Service continues to refuse to stand down from the Trump-era zombie timber sale at Black Ram, which would effectively clearcut nearly 1000 acres of ancient forest in high elevation wetlands--the ultimate ecosystem for sequestering carbon.
Write Montana's delegation and U.S. Forest Service and demand they stand up to the Republcan's wildlife killing machine--and that at Black Ram the U.S. Forest Service's policies must align with the Biden administration's concerns with climate change and endangered species--such as the Yaak Valley's last 25 grizzlies. THANK YOU!
