On September 30, students went to school without the knowledge of the danger they could possibly encounter. A student at the school threatened not only to bomb the school, but also shoot it up. The students were not informed of anything that was happening by the teachers or anyone. The students had told each other and were leaving in a panic for their own safety. However the school did not search for any possible bombs. The student that made said threat only got a citation. Theres a possibility they will attend school Monday morning. The student will also be left off with a slap on the wrist even though the panic this issues has caused. Not to mention a Federal Offense. The school did not prioritize the students safety at all during this time and allowed them to panic without telling anyone anything that was going on during third hour class. The safety of the students should have came first, however that did not happen. Students are worried about what may happen Monday morning. However the school says they did no wrong in the situation. As a student at this school and many other students are scared to go back to school. Our safety should be the most important thing. No student should be afraid to go back to school where they are supposed to be safe. I as well as many students do not want to go back to a school that doesn’t put our safety first. This school needs to admit they were wrong and should have told us what was going on instead of making us all panic and be afraid to go back. The student that did this threat made it clear he was not only targeting the students of color, but also the students sexualities. He will also be returning to school Monday as far as everyone has been told. I have been going to school with him since Elementary school and i'm close with people that know him personally as well as his brother. This is a situation I never thought would happen to me because of how small our little country school is compared to other schools, however it did happen. Friday was pure chaos, every student in that school was panicking and no one did anything. Many of the students that attended school that day were in distress, panic attacks, crying, and fighting. I was one of the students that had a panic attack that day. I was shaking so bad because we were all in the dark of what was going on. 

This was a very serious thing that they needed to put first however they didn’t.
