The Temporary Dog Park at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh has been one of the best and most widely used public spaces for dog owners in the Raleigh area. The temporary dog park is one of the few grassy dog parks with enough space to accommodate a large number of dogs and people in a safe and comfortable way. This petition is to stop the current plans of removing the dog park and replacing it with three smaller dog parks with mulch in different locations of the park.
