Hello. This is a petition regarding the idea of raising the minimum wage up to 10% in the United States. Many citizens in the United States of America, even middle-class citizens, all find a common group with even the lower socioeconomic classes in the country, which turns out to be money. Everyone seems to be in dire need of money today in the world, and especially when you’re a teenager and a young citizen. This also could apply to elderly-aged people, as most are living off by Social Security checks and by low-paying jobs, which don’t even find a way to help them either. The minimum wage is a serious problem that needs to be addressed in the United States, possibly going as high to the White House. $7.25 to $10.00 isn’t sufficient enough, especially for people living in the Southeastern region which continue to suffer from this conflict. 

This problem is something that needs to be addressed, and I hope, with the platform that I have been given, that we can all find a common ground on this issue that can soar to its highest potential to help increase the minimum wage in the United States of America.
