We the workers at OTG are the lowest hourly paid bartenders and servers inside of Bush IAH. Our fellow union brothers and sisters that work for HMS & SSP started out at the same $2.13, however over the last few years they’ve both collectively received raises up to the current $9.88; meanwhile over that same period we have not made any sort of financial advancement even with inflation chipping away at our wages. We perform similar job tasks and work in the same airport, not to mention we’re represented by the same union “Unite Here Local 23”. In addition OTG is not only the largest employer but also increasingly taking over more square footage inside the airport. I ask that all of you to sign and show support so that we the workers can receive what is fair and just. United we stand, divided we fall.
