Good afternoon, we hope you are all well.
Here is your latest update:
To let you know, we have extended the petition for one week to Friday the 24th September 2021. This is primarily to allow more people to sign and spread the word.
LBC are now getting quite a few letters of objection re the proposals which is fantastic news. You may read the comments via the attached link.
Do try and write too. The link is attached. The more letters LBC receive the better!
Once the closing date of the planning notice is reached, the council are going to organise a committee meeting which is open to residents and anyone who cares to attend.
There all the powers that be will discuss the pro's and con's of the proposals and information regarding the number of letters and indeed this petition received against the plans - which at now over 350 signatures simply cannot be ignored.
Please remember to check the criteria for meetings. From memory, numbers are limited and anyone who wishes to speak will have to book in advance and is given 2 minutes ish to speak.
Thanks again for your hard work, passion for retaining this lovely part of town, and ongoing support. You are much appreciated.
Please keep sharing! Let's get to 500 signatures.
