To our fellow Park East Synagogue community,
 
We were shocked and disheartened to learn that after 10 years of devoted service and sacrifice, our beloved Rabbi Goldschmidt received verbal notice from Rabbi Schneier that purported to terminate him from his position as Assistant Rabbi of Park East Synagogue.
